Stained - Jay Silverheels - Whiskey - You Can Do It On Your Head! - Pass The Controller - WAC - Talking Chocolate and Crisps - Dick Has Gone - Where To Go From Here - Europop

The 4-track was on its last legs by this point - it wasn't erasing tracks properly, which made for some fairly interesting bleed-though on many of these songs. Much acoustic majesty (esp. Stained) but the real find of this batch was the noise that an old record player made when you took the drive-belt off and did some cack-handed scratching - see WAC.

Albert came over to work up a new version of Dick Has Gone and to do Where to Go From Here, which I thought was THE song. At the end of the session we messed about and came up with Europop, which is still one of my favourite JD songs - see what I mean about the spontaneous songs overshadowing the ones we slave over?
