... so we decided to do some recording. Half of this was done at the Bakery, the rest in Ilkeston. It's a bit rough and ready and I think we were a bit in love with playing loud - see Monkey Nuts, our snotty taunt to other bands we played with.

My favourite from this batch is The Retreat; a bit drone-y, a bit Kraftwerk-y, a bit nice. For some reason we did perfunctory versions of some S**thouse classics, without adding a whole lot to them.

Mike Landucci of Blackbean & Placenta, USA, heard the seven songs and released them on vinyl two years later as the JOHNNY DOMINO mini-LP.
